This online component is a requirement for accreditation and will reduce your time and costs for the Foundation course. The certificate awarded must be attached to your enrolment form

It was decided at last year’s UMEC meeting to make the Introductory Officiating General Principles online course compulsory for all Level 1 umpire course participants so that the ASC manuals did not need to be purchased.

Netball Australia has received feedback that the Introductory Officiating General Principles online course is too complex and demanding for young participants – which make up a large percentage of participants in this course.

Netball Australia advises that the Introductory Officiating General Principlesonline course is no longer a requirement for the Level 1 Umpire Course. Those participants that have already completed the Level 1 course but not the online course may be awarded with the course. Future participants are not required to complete the online course nor purchase the ASC manual.
