NSW 19s top ACT

The NSW 19/U Team have notched their second win at the National Netball Championships, defeating ACT 35-19 in Round 3 action this morning in Tasmania.

It was a close tussle in the low-scoring first quarter, NSW led 5-4 at the first break.

NSW began to control the ball in the second quarter and raced away to a 10-goal lead at halftime.

It as goal-for-goal in the third quarter again but NSW had put the margin out of reach, taking the win by 16 goals.

The stage is set for an exciting match against Victoria at 8.00pm tonight in a rematch of last year’s Grand Final.
