2012 19/U State Team named

Netball NSW is pleased to announce the 12 athletes named in the 2012 19/U State Team.

The 12 players were selected from a 15-strong squad and include four players that helped the team to the title in 2011; Sophie Halpin, Kimberley Ravaillion, Amy Sommerville and Courtney Torpy.

We welcome Tiesha Ojeda back to the state teams after she sadly had to withdraw from the 2011 team due to injury.

The returning championship players will be joined by six athletes from the 2011 NSW 17/U State Team; Kristina Brice, Taylah Davies, Gemma Ferrington, Tahlia Goodwin, Emilee Lang and Claudia Russell, as well as NSWIS Emerging Athlete Program player Chloe Saville.

Head Coach Megan Simpson will be aiming to lead the team to back-to-back titles when they travel to Tasmania in late March for the 2012 19/U National Netball Championships.
