NNSW Conference: last minute questions?

We’re on the final countdown to this weekend’s Netball NSW Conference at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. We’re getting excited and we hope you are too!

We’ve put together a list of FAQ’s that will answer any of those last minute questions that you may have leading into the weekend.

I’m driving, where can I park?

I’m staying in Sydney Olympic Park, how do I get there?
If you’re staying in Sydney Olympic Park, the SOPSC is a short stroll (5-10 minutes) down Olympic Boulevard past the Aquatic Centre.

I’m coming by train, how do I get there?
If you are catching a train to Sydney Olympic Park, you need to make your way to the Olympic Sprint platform at Lidcombe Station where you will then get a train directly to Sydney Olympic Park.

Once arriving at Sydney Olympic Park and exiting the train station, walk towards the Novotel then walk along Olympic Boulevard past the Aquatic Centre.

What do I need to bring?
Your Conference folder will have everything that you need, but you may like to bring your own notepad and a spare pen just in case. 

I’ve registered for a practical session – what do I need to wear?
We’re excited to introduce practical sessions in 2012 but don’t fear – we won’t have you doing sprints or throwing bullet-like passes into the circle. If you are attending a practical session (umpires and coaches), there may be the opportunity to get involved so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes to ensure that you get the most out of each session.

Are meals provided?
Yes, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for conference participants at the specified times on the Conference program.

I’m a NSW Swifts member, when can I pick up my membership pack?
Members will be able to pick-up their membership packs from 3pm on Saturday in the Hall of Champions. For more information check the latest Red Alert.

Can I buy tickets to the Exhibition Match between the NSW Swifts and Melbourne Vixens at the door?
As a Conference participant your admission to the Exhibition Match is included as part of the Conference. However, if you would like to purchase more tickets for family and friends they are available to purchase at the door from the Netball NSW Ticket Booth. Doors open from 4:30pm.
