The NSW 19/U Team will play South Australia in Tuesday’s second semi-final at the National Netball Championships after finishing the rounds in third place following a 37-19 win over Queensland on Monday afternoon.

NSW will play second-placed SA at 3.00pm, following the first semi-final between ladder-leaders Victoria and fourth-placed Queensland.

Heading into the finals NSW will be lifted by the convincing win in their final round game today, one of their most dominant performances at the tournament.

“It was a confidence-boosting game for us and I was really proud of how the team stuck to our game plan and executed it with precision and real determination,” NSW Head Coach Megan Simpson said.

Following a close opening quarter, NSW made their break in the second term and never looked back.

“We blew out the margin in the second quarter; we had really good flow of the ball down into our attack end and our shooters shot beautifully.”

Statistics and more on the game are available on the Netball Australia website.

Injury update:
