NSW will battle Victoria for 17/U National crown

The NSW 17/U Team will be fighting to win the state’s first 17/U National Netball Championship title since 2007 tomorrow after defeating South Australia 38-22 to advance to the Grand Final.

NSW will meet Victoria, who defeated Queensland in the other semi-final, in the decider at 12.45pm tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Silverdome in Launceston, Tasmania.

NSW will take a mental edge into their match after getting the better of Victoria on Day Two of the tournament, 42-23.

In today’s semi-final NSW managed to edge ahead of SA in a close opening quarter before pushing out the margin each quarter to secure the win and their place in the Grand Final.
