This weekend Netball NSW and the NSW Swifts are focusing on our Charity Partner, The Kids’ Cancer Project (TKCP) with their Official Netball Charity Day at Associations around NSW on Saturday, and the Official Charity Game of TKCP on Sunday.

Over the weekend netball participants and Swifts fans will be raising money to help TCKP achieve their goal: to cure kids’ cancer.

In order to help TKCP achieve their goals, Netball Associations across the state have signed up to participate in the Official Netball Charity Day.

Twenty-three Associations have already signed up to support TKCP in 2012, some hosting a “crazy hair, hat, sunglasses or sock days”. Liverpool City have already held their Charity Day – check out what they did!

TKCP and the Swifts would like to thank all the Associations that are getting involved.

Netball NSW and TKCP (formerly The Oncology Children’s Foundation) first held their Charity Day in 2011, with 16 NSW Associations signing up for the fun and raising an impressive $23,000.

In 2012 there are already more Associations involved and with hopes to raise even more funds for the project.
